Hura Terms of Use
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms apply to the Hura app for Android and iOS, the Hura Telegram mini app and hura.huralya.com (together, "Hura"). Hura is provided by Huralya FZ-LLC ("Huralya", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Hura you agree to these terms and to the Hura Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Hura.
1. What Hura is, and what it is not
Hura is a self-help and wellbeing app: mood check-ins, a journal with AI reflections, an AI wellness coach and companions, guided journeys, habits and To-do, sleep sounds and games. Hura is not a medical service and does not replace professional care. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and nothing in Hura is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Hura is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number or a crisis line (for example 988 in the US, 116 123 in the UK and Ireland, or see findahelpline.com).
2. AI features
The coach, companions, reflections and other AI features are generated by computer models, not by people. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Use your own judgement and do not rely on them for important decisions. AI features are used only after you agree in the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Who can use Hura
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your device, sign-in method and recovery phrase (if you use an anonymous account) safe. If you lose the recovery phrase of an anonymous account, we may not be able to restore it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Hura to break the law; to harass, threaten or harm anyone; to upload content you do not have the right to share, including photos of other people without their permission or any image of a child's face; to create or request sexual or intimate content about real people; to attempt to access other accounts or our systems without permission; to abuse free allowances (for example with multiple accounts); or to copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer Hura. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
Your journal entries, check-ins and conversations belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide Hura to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time in the app, or at huralya.com/delete-account.html.
6. Hura Plus and purchases
Some features need a Hura Plus subscription. Subscriptions are sold through Google Play or the App Store, renew automatically until you cancel, and are governed by that store's terms, including refunds. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your store account settings. Prices and features may change; we will tell you before a change affects a paid subscription.
7. Our content
Hura, its design, text, sounds, characters, games and the Hura name and squirrel logo belong to Huralya or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own wellbeing.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Hura available and safe but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop features. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Hura is provided "as is", and Huralya is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on content in Hura. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.
10. Ending
You can stop using Hura and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in the country where you live.
